ASTM A615 Reinforcing Bar Grade 60 Description
ASTM A615 is an American technical standard that specifies requirements for both deformed and plain carbon steel bars used as reinforcement in concrete construction.
Product Characteristics:
Available Forms: Deformed (ribbed) bars and plain round bars.
Standard Diameters: Available in a wide range, commonly from #3 to #18 (approximately 10 mm to 57 mm).
Standard Lengths: Typically supplied in 6 m to 12 m lengths; custom lengths can be produced upon request.
Material: Carbon steel, produced through the hot-rolled process.
Application Scope:
ASTM A615 rebar is widely used in general construction projects such as residential and commercial buildings, bridges, highways, and other concrete structures that require reinforcement.
