DX51D / SGCC Galvanized Sheet Description
DX51D (European Standard EN 10346) and SGCC (Japanese Standard JIS G3302) are two widely used international standards that specify commercial-grade hot-dip galvanized steel sheets. This product is manufactured by processing a low-carbon steel substrate through a continuous hot-dip galvanizing process, resulting in a steel product coated with a pure zinc layer. It is primarily intended for forming applications rather than structural load-bearing purposes.
Key Features
Substrate: Low-carbon mild steel, offering excellent formability (deep drawing, bending).
Coating: A surface layer of pure zinc that provides sacrificial anode protection, preventing rusting of the substrate.
Primary Use: Suitable for formed components requiring subsequent painting or direct use.
Scope of Application
Galvanizing products are widely used in industry, agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery, energy, transportation, chemical industry, light industry, home appliances, construction, communications, national defense and other fields.
