Galvalume Steel Corrugated Roof Sheet Description
A Galvalume steel corrugated roof sheet is a high-performance building material manufactured from Galvalume-coated steel coil. The core of this product is a hot-dip coating composed of 55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, and 1.6% silicon, which metallurgically bonds to the steel substrate. This unique alloy coating synergistically combines the barrier protection of aluminum with the sacrificial anode protection of zinc, resulting in a roofing material with exceptional durability, longevity, and aesthetics, suitable for a wide range of architectural and industrial applications, including extreme environments.

1. Superior Corrosion & Rust Resistance
The aluminum content forms a stable, self-healing oxide layer that acts as a robust barrier against moisture and atmospheric agents. Simultaneously, the zinc component provides galvanic (sacrificial) protection to cut edges and scratches. This dual-protection mechanism grants Galvalume sheets a corrosion resistance typically 2 to 6 times greater than that of standard galvanized steel (GI) under identical conditions.
2. Excellent Heat Reflectivity & Energy Efficiency
With a solar reflectance approximately twice that of traditional galvanized roofing, Galvalume sheets significantly reduce heat absorption. This helps lower indoor temperatures during summer, decreasing cooling energy consumption and improving thermal comfort—making it an ideal choice for hot climates and sustainable building designs.

The alloy coating maintains stability and protective properties at sustained temperatures up to 315°C (600°F), allowing for reliable long-term performance in applications exposed to high heat, such as in certain industrial settings or under intense solar radiation.

The surface features a distinctive, uniform silvery-white spangle pattern with a smooth finish, offering an attractive appearance suitable for exposed applications.
